Carnation Company, Palmyra and Front Streets in Sullivan, WI, with 175-foot smokestack and located adjacent to the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad (CN&W) mainline from Milwaukee to Madison. Formerly the Bluemenstein Milk Condensing Plant. CN&W line was officially abandoned and vacated in 1982-83, and converted by the WI DNR (Dept. of Natural Resources) into the popular Glacial Drumlin Bike Trail.
The concrete tower has been taken down, the incidental buildings in the lower left were removed and that land is now park for the biking trail, and the farm beyond has been developed into single family homes.
So where's our old house?
