This is where I grew up. My maternal grandfather built the house, barn, machine shed and garage and chicken coop in the early 1900's, around 1913. My mother and her 5 sisters grew up here. In 1947 my parents purchased the farm from him, John Schueller. The addition to the barn was built in 1959. The larger shed on the left was built after 1968. After my mother died in 1971 my Dad sold the farm to a Mr. Schroeder. He still owns it. Now, the barn is collapsing. But my families memories of this "home place" for 2 generations will live on.
