I grew up on this farm in the 1990s this place was a child's dream each building still held all it's treasures. At one time this place had a functional: granary with the old sifter intact, stables, shop with metal baler twine still hanging on the wall, sheep barn with wool still dangling from the nails on the wall, tack shop with saddles, blacksmith shop, chicken coop, field hospital with gurney, cheese factory, hog house, and vineyard. Not one building pictured here still stands all that remains is a single hickory peg I took from the old barn. The farm was in a deep state of disrepair by the time my father took over operations. In 1999 a violent storm destroyed much of the main dairy barn triggering a chain of demolitions eventually leading to the complete modernization of the farm and the construction of the current modern dairy facility which resides there today.
