This house was originally a barn that sit on land owned by John and Elsie Carter. When their oldest daughter, Betty, got married they converted the barn to a house. They added insulation and wood siding right over the top of the barn wood. The put up some walls to make a living room, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. Jack and Betty Moore lived in this house until their deaths. Their only son, Mike, and his wife Mary lived in the house until it was taken by fire in June 2023.
