Mayflower Barn. The house across the street still stands. I spent nearly every day playing in the barn from the early to mid 1960s. The farm was nationally known as were the cattle that grazed its pastures. The barn was truly an amazing structure with a hayloft as wide as a football field. The farm sold and ceased as a dairy operation in 1964. Later used for horse boarding.It was destroyed by an arsonist on Valentines day,1998.

Lived here from 1959 until 1966. Just south of, and adjacent to the old Mayflower Farm. Was called,The Pines,and was a gambling casino in the 1920s and 1930s. The home had a few armored doors as well as a machine gun mount and buzzers on the windows. It was built in 1859 and torn down around 2000 to make way for a strip center.
