At the time of the photo Mrs. Fisher lived in and owned this home. You can see her Volkswagen in the photo. My mother and several siblings were born here. My mother is Willie Alice Parker. Her parents were Millard and Marian Rackley Parker.

This is my Dads home. James Perry. 1265 Bethesda Church Rd. Girard, Ga. I, Melanie Beard, lived here from about age 6 around 1968 until I married 1983. There was a back area added onto the mobile home. A shelter where he worked on machinery, with an area to the right for raising hogs. It looks like he had just built the building on the right for the hogs and hadn’t moved them yet. That building burned. Notice the combine parked bottom left. So many changes. My father passes away 2014.
