Speedway gas station on County Road 687 in Hartford, MI (I-94 exit 46). The station was torn down almost 20 years ago, but as of 2023 the billboard on the right is still visible.

Trio of gas stations at M-40 and Ampey Road just north of I-94 in Paw Paw. In the foreground is a Standard (later Amoco, then BP, now Citgo). To the left is an abandoned Texaco, since torn down for a Big Boy restaurant (later Copper Grill, now vacant). Across the street is Cheker Oil, now Speedway. The vacant lot in the background was later claimed by a Fishers Big Wheel department store, which was later turned into a Felpausch supermarket (now Family Fare). Pizza Hut and Taco Bell have also built to the left.

Boomland truck stop and fireworks store, Charleston, Missouri. This business is still operational as of 2025. I recall stopping here on a family trip in 2001.
