Last year for the swine business. Barn on the right is long gone now. The area where the grain truck is sitting is now the spot for our annual wiener roast! Lots of love and memories on this family farm! Grand kids and Great Grands love going to Grandma and Grandpa's for tractor rides!

Dad's farrowing house left of the corn crib was pretty modern! Look at the size of that garden to the right of the barn. Always plenty to eat for us 6 kids...fresh garden tomatoes grown in the richest soil in Central Illinois were the best! Look at those awesome grain trucks, too!

I loved growing up on this farm. The large area of yard to the left of the house was my brothers baseball field growing up.

My folks moved into this farm in 1957 and still live there 63 years later. All 6 of us kids have wonderful memories growing up on a purebred hog farm in Central Illinois. Hogs are long gone and Dad has retired from farming, but it will always be Home Sweet Home to me.
