This farm was owned by Robert Cleveland back in the 60s the farm was located on Linglestown Rd. At the north end of N. Progress Ave. It was managed by Richard Hocker for Mr. Cleveland. Mr. Hocker owned a small 16 ac. farm directly in front of the Cleveland farm on Linglestown Rd. My brother's and I along with several friends all worked on the Cleveland farm while growing up nearby. Mr. Cleveland sold the farm in 1968 or 1969 to a local insurance broker. Today sadly it is all townhouses. The beautiful old stone house is gone as well as the barn.

This farm was the Denison farm. Located at the corner of Linglestown Rd. and North Progress Ave. I lived directly across the road from their driveway on N. Progress Ave. We would buy sweet corn from Mr. & Mrs. Denison. Purchased a few chickens on different occasions. Darn dog liked chicken.
