My wife and I bought this house in the mid-2000s. The son of the original owner/builder still lived next door. I believe the original color was white when it was built in 1970, but it was painted gray when we moved in. We kept it that color through the time we sold it. A covered front porch was added at some point (not present in this pic). The many trees pelted the roof with acorns and shagbark hickory nuts every autumn. The house happens to sit near the edge of the Chickamauga National Military Park. Whether related or not, we experienced many strange occurrences during the time we owned the house.
