This is the original Home of Professor M.L Test. Mr. Test was from Valparaiso Indiana and was the Super Intendant of schools In Mt. Sterling. The farm was sold to Clyde and Alpha Logsdon in the 1930's and passed to their daughter Bonnie Delores (Logsdon)Taylor then to her son Carl R. Taylor and his wife Marcia A. (Schmidt)Taylor. The home was vacant from 1988 until 2013 when it collapsed due to water damage from a leaking roof. The barn and a few out buildings still stand and Mr. and Mrs. Taylor's youngest son Derrick is in the middle of plans to rebuild the original home using the stone from the barn, home and out buildings.
