This picture is the one my mom and dad purchased, and my brother who lives on the same homesite has hanging in his shed. There is only one building in the picture still standing, the others were torn down, and the house burned in 1989. I'm one of the kids standing in the yard in the center of the picture. I was 13 years old then, and I recognize the car of some friends from St Louis who were visiting that day, so it must have been taken on a Sunday or some kind of holiday.

It was the Al and Loretta Haselhorst farm, basically right between Damiansville, Albers, and New Baden. Our mailing address was RR 1, New Baden.
