I went to Weldon Grade School in about 1960-1961. I remember sliding down that slide on the side of the school for fire drills. Trigg Funeral home is just to the left. The house across the street in the front of the school to the right, the 2 story home was for the Methodist preacher and family. At that time it was Rev. Christian.
