Gibson City, Illinois...looking north. That’s Illinois State Routes 9, 47, and 54 (1st Street) running east-west across the bottom of the picture. The intersection is with Sangamon Avenue. At this point Ill. 47 turns south. Highlights in the picture are the John Deere dealership, the DI$CO gas station (in the process of rebranding to CHEKER), and the SHELL gas station. Look at the gas price at the DI$CO station....42.9¢ a gallon!!!
