This is the Blankenberg Farm. My Grandparents, Irving and T. Helen Blankenberg owned the farm and lived there until 1951 when my parents, William and Nancy Blankenberg lived there. Maurice Blanchett and his family lived there from the mid 50â™s until 1974 when my grandmother T. Helen Blankenberg sold the house and the acre it sat on to me and my husband Tim and Barbara (Blankenberg) Tobeck. We lived in the house until 1982 when we sold the house and acre of land to Mark Blanchett (Mauriceâ™s Son). My grandmother owned the farm until she retired from Blankenberg Photographers at the age of 82 in 1984 and moved to McAllen,TX. At this time she sold the farm to the Blanchetts.
