Looking at the intersection of Illinois State Route 47, N. Bridge Street, and U.S. Highway 34, Veterans Parkway, in Yorkville, Illinois. You see the Dailey Brothers, Yorkville Super Mart, along with a Standard service station. I wish I could say which direction we’re looking at, but this intersection is so radically different today, and there’s no indication on the signs in the corner. U.S 34 runs L-R through the center of the picture. Today, the intersection has a BP station in the NE corner, a Shell/Circle K in the NW corner, Walgreens in the SW, and a Chase Bank in the SE corner.
