This farm used to be on W. Chardon Rd., about 3/4 mile east of Fairfield Rd., on the north side of the road, just after the bend. All that remains is the silo and long driveway to it. View is looking NW.

Otto R. Hertel (1932-2004) and Dolores (Kildahl) Hertel discontinued farming and held an auction on April 7, 1974 selling his farm machinery and household items and moved to McHenry.
