Art Center of Libertyville
1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., looking NE. This was the David Adler Estate, home of the famous architect. It was built in 1918, and as previously noted, became the Art Center of Libertyville after a non-profit organization, named the David Adler Memorial Park Association, rehabbed the place so well the village purchased the property. It sat vacant for two years and then opened in 1958. If you are ever in the area, do take the time to take in this treasure!
