This looks like Hawley st in Grayslake. That looks like the United Protestant Church on the right top. Danley Lunber is on the the left center, The library is the white building across from the church.
At this time, the building on the lower left was a bank. Later it became the police department.
The infamous Grayslake Times newspaper was printed in the big White building lower center
It's Lakeland Publishers, where I worked for almost 10 years...that printed 6 additional newspapers, not just the "infamous" Grayslake Times.
This location is S. Whitney St. with Park Ave. intersection (left to right) in the Village of Grayslake in Avon Township. In the center is United Protestant Church located at 54 S. Whitney St. on the west side of the street. Today, the 2-story white building and flat-top bank building is now a parking lot behind the Grayslake Police Department
