This is unincorporated Ivanhoe in Fremont Township. The intersection of Rte. 60 (left to right), Rte. 83 (bottom of photo), Park Ave. (bottom left of photo) and Schank Ave. (leading to right corner of photo. Rte. 176 is at the top of the photo. Dietz's Stable was located where the gas station in this photo. An 1876 barn was converted to a dance hall known as Dietz's Stables back in the 1930s and 1940s. It was a popular gathering place for couples from miles around.
At the bottom edge on the left the buildings slightly modified and still there is Wiechs Inn Tavern owned by Art Wiech and still owned by the family but has been closed and up for sale
The 2 story building along the left edge was owned by a Frederick Family but now has been modified and is Crossroads Tavern owned by the Bowes Family
