I grew up here,, this was my Grandfathers air museum and home on the left, my family home on the right. I love seeing this, such a great childhood living and growing up here. The properties have since been sold, all planes are gone, my Grandparents have passed, myFather has passed, and my sister has passed. This is great to see a picture of Happy times....😁
These properties are located at 28956 Gilmer Rd. in Fremont Township. The Victory Air Museum (left) was owned by Amilio "Paul" Polidori (1912-1985) and co-founder Earl Reinert. The museum started in the early 60s and contained about a dozen World War II fighter planes. Paul was killed in an airplane crash on June 28, 1985 near the museum with his passenger, James Pribilski, an aerial photographer.
