Singing Hills farm on Gilmer rd
The Singing Hills Farm was located off of S. Fish Lake Rd. (bottom) on the northeast corner intersection with Gilmer Rd. in Wauconda Township. The property is now the Singing Hills Forest Preserve. The barn and silo are all that remains. The Lake County Forest Preserve purchased the 533 acre parcel in 1997. In 1977, owner Daniel Nelson sold all his farm equipment at an auction.
