Looking northeast at the intersection of Illinois State Route 4 and Central Avenue, Illinois State Route 138, Benld, Illinois. In the SE corner is a Standard service station, with a Shell service station, in the NE corner. Both stations, today, are gone. The building along the edge of the picture has been torn down, and a Dollar General store is located there today.
