Former Mt. Calvary school in the old District No. 3 of New Douglas Township. The school operated through the 1948-49 school year. In December 1948 the school was annexed to the New Douglas consolidated District 155. The Edwardsville Intelligencer newspaper (8/19/1949) advertised its public auction scheduled for August 20, 1949. The property was advertised as 1/2-acre in size and "would make a nice home dwelling".
