Photo 24-BMD-10 from 1976

Comments

My grandfather owned the gas station and chicken house. This was where my parents lived when I was born, six years before this was taken. The chicken house is gone now.

My mother and her youngest brother took care of the gas station duties for my grandparents after school until closing time. After I was born, she helped out when they needed her. I spent a lot of time there during my first two years. The gas station is also gone now.
