Located today at 615 Rand Rd. (Rte. 120) in Lakemoor was the Longhorn Steak House. The community in the early days was known as Lilymoor because of Lilymoor Lake, as seen behind the restaurant. The original structure was built in the late 1920s. By 1934 it was known as Winkel's Lilymoor Tavern. In December 1945, Steve and Lil Wijas renovated and redecorated the business and opened Club Lilymoor at this location. By 1967, Arlene and Jim Freund ran the Longhorn Steak House. In 1992, Paul Gasior purchased the Longhorn Steak House from Arlene, a member of the Wijas family. Paul renamed the restaurant to Longhorn Steakhouse and Crab Shack plus opened a banquet facility and called it The Lakeside. In February 2007, the business was converted to The Iron Bull Saloon, Amy Donahue leasing it from Paul Gasior. Today, this location is known as Long Shot Sports Pub.
