As late as 1979, the house and all the outbuildings were still standing, but look to have all been torn down by 1986, leaving just a grassy plot. Around 1989, construction began on a Menards on the former farm site, It would open in 1990, and
relocated by September 2013, with the former space being taken up by a Hobby Lobby and Party City. Party City closed in fall 2025, while Hobby Lobby still occupies the space.
