This motel was torn down in 2015.
This hotel was named The Lodge for as long as I can remember it. It was demolished in 2015 and sits as a field today (for future development). This is just north of the Interstate 55/72 intersection and was a "Welcome to Springfield" type of hotel. The service station in the left of the picture is now home to Buraski Builders.
