Mark's Mobil station. The baseball diamond is now Tirapelli Ford. Northeast corner of I-55 and Rt 52

A Standard Service Station Located On Jefferson Street (U.S. Route 52) Near Northeast Frontage Road And Interstate 55 In Shorewood, Illinois (Some People Would Say This Is A Part Of Joliet). The Building Is Still There And, The Station Still Does Automotive Repairs To This Day. The Station Became An Amoco In The Early 1970's, With The Standard Signage Being Kept Until The 1980's. In 1988, Mark Hagler Bought This Place From The Person Who Previously Owned And Operated This Service Station. It Became Known As Mark's Service Center That Year, And It Is Still Known Under That Name To This Day. The Station Sold Amoco Gasoline Until The 1990's When They Moved Down The Street To A Phillips 66 Station. This Station Was A Phillips 66 After An Amoco, So It Was A Swap Between The Two Brands. Then In 2009, The Owner, Mark Hagler, Decided To Switch The Station's Branding From Phillips 66 To Mobil. The Tall Sign For This Station Was Unfortunately Removed In Late 2016 Or Early 2017.
