A Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge And Restaurant And, A Howard Johnson's Operated, Shell Service Station Located On Jefferson Street (U.S. Route 52) In Shorewood, Illinois (Some People Would Say This Is A Part Of Joliet). The Shell Station Is Still There To This Day! The Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge And Restauarnt Are No Longer There, But The Building Is Still There! It Currently Operates As The Joliet Plaza Inn And Suites And Joe's Bar. The Tall Sign For The Howard Johnson's Unfortunately Can't Be Seen In Any Vintage Aerial Photo And It Is Also Gone Now As Well. The Tall Sign For The Shell Is Also Gone Now As Well.
