This was my Uncle Forest and Aunt Bertha Stanley's farm. Bertha and my grandma Sylvia Conwell Johnson were sisters. The Stanleys and my grandma are passed. The home and buildings are owned by a neighbor Donald Harris. The ground is farmed by son in law Lothair Oxley who married Marsena. The Oxleys live in Randolph Co at 4440 S Co Rd 1200 W, about a mile away. Across the road in front of the house and to the left of the 4 hog houses, was a farm pond which froze frequently and upon which we often ice skated during the 1950's and 60's. The farm is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of E Co Rd 600 S and S Co Rd 875 E.
