My grandfather, Richard St. Pierre built this place, having started his life on the property with his wife Helen in the small house in the middle. They had 7 kids, all born on the property. Norma, Loretta, Ron, Richard, Ted, Jerry, Steph. The property was sold off a few years after this picture was taken, as Richard St. Pierre was grief-stricken at the death of his wife, and could not handle living there any longer. The property had originally been promised to the first grandson bearing the St. Pierre name. The house and property have a myriad of stories behind it, and many, many memories.

Eric thank you for the history about this photo. How long was this home in your family? Is the property still there today? If you know the current address for this photo, Id be happy to update the location on the map!

The coordinates are 40°45'56.1"N 87°05'59.8"W . It's at the intersection of Highway 24 and S 280 W
