Where I grew up, wish it still looked like this
My Grandpa bought this farm before being killed by a falling tree. During WW2 he received one of the VERY last Farmall M's before the factory converted to war products. He didn't want to be seen driving a new tractor during the war. So it spent 4 years in the barn until after the war.
My Dad bought this farm in the early 50’s. It is still an active farm today. I grew up and lived here until I married in 1961. The house was beautiful with hardwood floors, pocket doors and a fireplace in the living room. The house is now gone. The barn still stands. It was a grain and livestock farm. Many fond memories remain.
