This is the Frank Akre farm. Was told that this round barn was torn down and sold and is now the round barn theater at Amish Acres in Nappanee, IN.

Do you remember the kind of farm Frank Akre operated on the property? I'm glad the barn was able to be saved and relocated.
He had it at a time when everybody was diversified (30s-50s). He had 160 acres and did corn, wheat, and alfalfa. He also had a couple cows, pigs, chickens, etc. By the time this picture was taken he was basically retired and renting out his ground. He was a pilot in WW2 and staple at Hoople's, the local watering hole in Bremen.
