I was born in this house in 1945 and lived there until 1962 when we all moved to Marathon. The farm was owned by Mrs.Rutherford from Humboldt. Today the barn, silo, crib and hog house are all gone, only the house and trees are still standing. Dad and mom raised 3 children here and though we were not rich, we were very comfortable.
