Photo 33-PCE-6

Comments

This farm was owned by Erwin and Violet Lehrman from about 1944 to about 1976. I and my 3 sisters grew up here. It was 160 acres.2 grain bins remain there now. The corn crib and older hog house are gone. A smaller barn replaced the big barn in the picture. Hogs, cattle and crops were raised there. In the early years Mom and Dad also milked quite a few cows and sold milk and cream. The white cattle in the picture were the Charlois breed from France I think.
