This is the Pat Crowley farm in 1973. I was a sophomore in high school. I inherited part of this land that Timothy Crowley and Catherine Minnehan settled in the mid-1800s after fleeing the famines in Ireland. They were from Parish Scully in County Cork Ireland. Timâ™s son John married Bridget Duffy of Petersville. Their sons Vince (who married Clare Farrell of Petersville) and Mart farmed side-by-side in this section.
