This was the 3rd farm that my parents and family lived on an rented from Mrs. Palmer. Its in Guthrie County but since the house was on the south side of the road, I was able to finish my senior year at Audubon High School in Audubon. On the other side of the road, I would have been in the Coon Rapids school district. This farm was on 180th Road, about a 1/4 mile west of Chestnut Road (old Iowa Hwy 73). The farm land did extend to the east side of Chestnut Road also. The building site is gone and probably has been for a long time, as I write this in June, 2017. This is a long distance view and I liked the photo from 1976 (011-HGU-14)with a much better view.

I forgot to mention that this photo shows the barn apparently being dismantled as the entire upper portion is gone.
