This is the Claude and Eleanor Grout Farm in 1977. There is another photo from 1964. The older one shows the farm with my grandparents house in addition to this house. Between the two dates my grandparent's home was torn down. I am a daughter of Claude and Eleanor and had graduated and left home in 1969. It was later a family affair to tear down the old barn (unsure of the year). Now in 2019 all of these buildings are gone except the round granary. In 2009 my husband and I moved here and we built new buildings and a new home. Although the buildings don't exist I have a strong attachment to my childhood home and am so blessed to be able to again live here.
