I grew up on this farm from age 4 until I married and moved away at age 18. The house in the picture was built around 1970. In 2018 my husband retired and we moved back to the farm and completely remodeled the house and built on a large addition. We turned a ranch style home into a farmhouse with a light gray metal roof and the brick has been painted white. A large front porch was also added. The pond dried up 15-20 years ago. My parents had an aerial print of this picture. It is framed and now hangs in what was the dining area and is now our “memory room” which includes other family photos and antiques.
