Is this on the road from Mars Hill to Easton?

This is the old Fuller Farm out on Fuller Rd in Easton, not sure if my Uncle or Great uncle was running it in 65 but I spent my summers there in the 70's and 80's when Uncle Scott and his family ran it and my Grandparents Dwight and Louise lived there too. Sold sometime in the 90's and a nice couple bought it who let us take a tour the last time I was up there about 7 years ago.

Fuller Homestead, Fuller Rd., Easton, ME. Built by Walter and Lillian (Kneeland) Fuller.

Currently owned by Bruce Alexander.

My Dad, Bruce Alexander, bought this farm from Scott & Glennis Fuller in 1983 when we moved out from Presque Isle. He is still living there. My brother, Jonah built a house on the lower part of the farm, below the Gray Road. The barn fell down in the late 80s, and dad had the potato house torn down a few years ago when the walls started coming in. Feel so fortunate to have grown up on that farm in that neighborhood of Easton when we did. Wish my kids could have a childhood like we had.

The buildings have aged and so have we. That photo shows a life so different than today. I feel privileged to have been part of that land, that farm and the people of that community.

I lived on this farm from birth until 1968 age 14. My father and mother Winston and Marjorie Corey raised our family here. Dad worked on the farm with my Uncle Darrell and Aunt Eva Fuller. Many a Fuller family reunions were held here as it was the Fuller Homestead. My Grandmother was Naida Fuller Corey and also grew up on this farm.

I grew up on this farm from 1950-1968.Great Uncle Darrell and Eva Fuller lived in the large farm house and our family lived in the smaller house which is hidden by the trees at lower left of picture. As Keith Corey, my brother stated, many Fuller family reunions were held on the lawns and in the garage of the Fuller Homestead. Walter and Betty Corey lived in the farmhouse across the road. Walter and my father Winston Corey were Naida Fuller Corey's sons and Darell Fuller's nephews.

Slight correction: this homestead was built by Benjamin Lewis Fuller, my great great grandfather, probably with help from his son, Walter Scott. He later brought his father, Abram, from Dover to live here.

Benjamin L Fuller, 1834-1912, married Elizabeth Sinclair and had at least two children: Edwin Fuller and Annie Fuller Cheney. Benjamin then married Elizabeth Dore, 1830-1923 and had at least 3 more children: Alice, Walter Scott Fuller and John Dore Fuller.

Walter Scott Fuller, 1867-1964, married Lillian Kneeland, 1867-1948, and had at least 8 children, including Leah, Darrell, Naida, Vernon, Walter Dwight, Cecil and Benjamin.
