Washburn Mill Pond. The left side shows the railroad "trestle" that was removed in 2014.

The house is 53 Hines Street.

This shows the boy scout cabin near the tracks, I think the other two little buildings were hanging rooms??

The house is actually 8 Hines Street. Eva and Otis Levesque owned it. That's where my whole family grew up. The little tiny structure in the center nearest the water was a summer house.. That's my dad's garden patch on the left!

Yes I am glad Mona pointed out the Boy Scout camp! I remember that ! And I remember skating on the the mill pond , I remember begging mom " When can we skate on the pond every winter we could not wait! " mom always said when they can clean it with a plow truck which they did back then, probably pick up with plow. Then it would be safe enough for us to skate on! Actually ther were times they built a fire in center and we toasted marshmallows at night it was so much fun!

This is now my home. Currently 53 Hines Street.

I was born in 1942 and this was the boy scout camp I went to with Scout leader ? The memory is not as good as it was.

53 Hines street was owned by an older couple named Guilford and Inez Sperry who were frinds of my parents in the 1950s.
