Ramsdale was the name or Ramsdell farm. Beside the Belford and Peggy Woodman homestead, formerly the Chandler farm.
The farm was called Riverdale, the lettering over the barn door was visible into the early 1970's. It was owned by the Ramsdell family. Llewellyn Ramsdell (the 3rd of 4 Ramsdell sons) and his wife Lillian Munson Ramsdell (no children) farmed it until 1970.
