1877 State Rd, Castle Hill. Former Arnold Chandler farm. It was my home from 2006-2013.

This was the home of Charles and Maud Chandler. Their youngest son, Arnold M. Chandler married Beulah Grant, lived and raised his four children here. It is his name you see on the barn. He was the man who went from potatoes to a poultry farmer, before the large hen house burned (I think 1975 or 76?). After all the children left home and married, and Arnold passed away, Beulah lived here for a few years before settling into a smaller, easier to maintain house in PI. Hence began the sale of the Chandler homestead.

I used to love visiting my best friend, Connie Chandler, at this farm. She & Trudy had ponies and they let me ride them, my absolute dream come true. We were 4th-6th grade in the early 60's. I also loved Grammy Chandler. She was a cute, small, white- haired lady and very spry for her age. I remember Beulah as a beautiful and kind lady. Arnold was a gentle, soft spoken man with lots of patience for young girls wanting to ride ponies! I do remember the awful smell of the chicken house!

Yes, this was my mother's childhood home. Later my aunt and uncle's home.

My husband and his family lived in this house when he was young for a couple years with his grandmother Beulah Chandler.
