This is the Maxime, & Warren Michaud Family Farm and Homestead.
The family house is on the far left. It was built in 1937 at which time my Grandparents - Maxime & Ida (Boucher) Michaud moved in with their 4 children (Constance, Norman, Warren, & Clifford).
My Mom & Dad - Warren & Juliette (Martin) Michaud moved in after my Grandmother passed away (either 1953 or 1954). They raised their 8 children (Jessie, Maxine, Cynthia, Russell, Christopher, Curtis, Mitch, & Vicki) in that house and lived their until Dad passed away in Jan 2011.
Currently, my eldest brother - Jessie - and his wife Nancy (Lizotte) Michaud live in the family house.
My Dad lost the farm (in the late 60's or early 70's) at which time Luke Derosier bought it.
The Chicken Coup (up behind the house) collapsed over the years and the remains were burnt sometime in the 80's
The Barn (center) was torn down (late 70's or early 80's) by my Dad (Warren) but Its foundation is still standing.
The Potato House (up behind the barn) is also no longer standing but its foundation is also still there. Not sure when the Potato House collapsed.
Both foundations (of the Barn and Potato House) have been taken over by overgrowth of trees, etc. and can't easily be seen anymore.
The house on the far right was built in 1947 for my Dad (Warren) and my Mom (Juliette Martin Michaud) to move into after they were married in Nov 1946. They lived there until my Grandmother (Ida Boucher Michaud) passed away, at which time they moved into the big house (on the left). This house was sold to a Plourde family (but don't know who) and not sure how long they lived there.
At the time of this picture and currently, the house was/is owned by Mr. Roland and Mrs. Louise Ouellette. They lived their with their kids (Nancy, Richard "Dick", Brenda, Brian, & Cindy). Mrs. Louise still lives there today.

Sorry - Forgot to mention it is on Main Street (Route 162) in St. Agatha, Maine.

Very cool ! Lived not far from there and knew the family.

The Farm was also called "Lake View Farms". You can barely see the sign on the right hand side of the barn. The sign on the left of the barn says "MJ Michaud & Son"

Did a LOT of potato trucking for Warren in the 60s! Lots of memories! Barn was still standing then. Yes a LOT of memories!
