One of the reasons genealogy can be interesting: The Victoria Madore above was mother of Cassie Sutherland, Maurine Michaud's mother. About 30 years after we graduated, as classmates, Sandra Colbath McHatten (Maureen's cousin) wrote me, we shared information, and some years later she revealed that my Blier "brother" was her Blier "sister." So in one swoop I was related to the Bragdon sisters which included CASSIE Sutherland, Sandra's mother MARTHA, Beth Holmes (a classmate) Bell's mother MADELINE, and Martha Eunice Stevens (a classmate)-David's mother, a niece, MONA Colbath (Sandra's sister) Stevens. Victoria Madore Bragdon's mother Virginia was the sister of my mother's grandfather Joseph Blier. So, without knowing it I graduated with two 3rd-cousins, and one 3rd-cousin-once-removed.

P.S. Two of the eight above Bragdon sisters married Bolstridge's: Blanche and Beulah.
