McAlpines' Ice Cream Stand and Residence. Rte. 11, Nashville Plantation.

Everything is gone now but I remember when we helped my grandfather move the house to this location. It used to sit at the top of the hill. The trailer behind the ice cream stand was owned by my mother and stepfather, Pierre and Shirley Charette. I can remember my mom and Lois Orcuitt selling hot dogs, burgers, and fries out of that stand.

The trailer across the road was my first home! :)

My Mom and I would stop at that ice cream stand almost daily in the summer when we traveled to our camp in Portage.
