Formerly the Merrow Farm.

I grew up on this farm, and I have so many fond memories. My three older sisters and I learned to skate on the pond located on the near side of the long chicken barn. In the spring the entire family would congregate at the rear of the cow barn in the rear of the photo. My father would unhook all the cattle at the same time and open the back barn door. The cows and heifers required a few minutes to realize they were free after a long winter in the barn, and they would step carefully down the angled wooden recess, but when their hooves hit the ground they would jump and leap their way out to pasture. Our hearts went with them.
