My uncle Phil Fitzpatrick owned this garage and it ha been torn down
My great uncle,George McKenney, owned this garage. My uncle, John McKenney, worked there as a kid. After that it was owned by Phil Fitzpatrick. Later on part of it became the "old" Clinton Variety and has since been torn down.
My dad was high school friends with Phil before leaving for the navy. I remember visiting with "Uncle Phil" growing up and seeing him race #98 at Unity Raceway on Saturday nights. Such a nice man.
