Twins Country Store, Corner of Route 3 and Church Hill Road....Formerly Mickeys Market
this was my husbands uncles store
Before Mickey's Market it was Pete & Tilly's Store.
House on left was part of Gamage Farms.
As others have stated, this is the corner of modern-day North Belfast Ave (ME-3 - foreground) and Church Hill Road (heading towards the top of the picture).
At the center is modern day Twins Country Store, formerly known as Mickey's Pit Stop/ Market and Pete & Tilly's Store. The building seen here still stands, but has been changed substantially - prior to the late 2000s the building was heavily remodeled - a long single story addition was added to the right side of the building, and all doors/windows were sealed. A long porch was added to the front, with an access ramp in front of the building seen here. The windows on the left side are still there, though some on the first floor have been changed and a staircase/second floor entry at the rear of that side. Three side of the building have been paved, with the rear remaining a dirt lot. The garage building behind it was demolished prior to the 2000s.
The farm at the top left was completely lost (either fire or demolition) prior to the 2000s. The fields where the buildings once stood is still hayed yearly, though the field above the house in this picture now has a field of solar panels.
